Alison Buchanan

Junnoy Murriwan (English name - Alison Buchanan) is a Gumbaynggirr painter.

The Gumbaynggirr Aboriginal people have lived in the same area for more than 50,000 years on the east coast of Australia. Stories were passed on through dance, song and art, explaining a simple way of life with a complex understanding, respect and love for mother earth.
