Oyster Industry

Our oyster industry was once the largest in the southern hemisphere and still produces the best Sydney Rock Oysters in Australia.

The Oyster farmers at Lemon Tree are always pleased to have the occasional visitor and give them a quick education on oyster farming.

Oysters abound on the Peninsula!  They're available at restaurants, takeaways and local fish mongers.
